You may all notice that we are in football season. We tend to stay kind of busy at this time of year, but we still get to do many fun things! We got to ride on the Frostbite/Montagu's float for the UNA homecoming parade where Cody and I had a blast throwing candy to everyone.
I also got to attend one of my new friends' birthday party. His name is Henry and he loves trains. So that's what his party theme was. I chose the green car.
Then we all lined up to make a long choo choo train with Henry being first.
We of course had to stop and take a cake and ice cream break.
and then it was back to the railroad crossing for a group picture of the partiers!
Cody didn't attend Henry's party. Instead, he played monkey outside on the ship while he wore his favorite itty bitty Gap hat.
With daddy's busy schedule, he did manage to be home one night and we decided to pick out my NFL football team. He had pictures of every NFL team's helmet on one page and after I scanned for just a second, I chose my team to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! The only reason I can come up with is that I'm totally in love with pirates these days!
Daddy oddly had a Saturday off during football season, so we loaded up and headed to Spring Park to ride the train, roller coaster and carousel. You may remember, but Cody did not love the roller coaster about a month ago, but this time he walked in and got in the same car with me. He totally loved it this time!
We quickly made it over to the train, where I sat with daddy
and Cody of course sat with mama
Then Cody and I rode together with mama behind us
Then we had to take an all man ride. Just daddy and his boys!
While we rode with daddy, Cody turned to ask mama if he could ride the roller coaster again
So that's what we did next and Cody was the first one on and chose to get in the front again.
I told him to raise his hands as we go down the hill
But he wanted to just hold on. I rode with my hands up the whole time!

Whew that thing is fast and FUN!

We finally took a break from the roller coaster and made our way to the playground. That's when Cody found his new friend "Barney"

Last week, my class had a field trip to a farm! There they had a big haystack for us to climb on
