Christmas in Amory

Sunday, the parents and I loaded up and drove to Amory for Christmas with daddy's family. Before we left, mommy had to take pictures of me in front of our tree with all the presents.

In Amory, I received some goodies!! Aunt Martha and her family got me a laugh and learn puppy, Nanaw and Pawpaw got me a push toy lawn mower, Aunt MaryBeth, Uncle Allen and Cousin Austin got me a word learning toy shaped as an apple, and Mawmaw English gave me some money!!! I love them all!!

While we were there, we decided to take some MORE pictures.

This is me with Aunt Martha's candle that we got her...I had a hard time parting with it.

Cousin Austin and I got to play some and I still wouldn't let go of the candle.

The parents and I managed to get a family picture.

Here is Nanaw with her kids and spouses and their kids. Notice I'm still hanging onto the candle.
Here is Mawmaw English with her 4 grandchildren.
Here is everyone except mommy (she's taking the picture) and Pawpaw...he had to work. I wasn't happy to be taking this picture because I wanted to go outside.

Another fun suprise...mommy and daddy were telling everyone how much I love to sit by myself and rock in the recliner, so they were wanting to get me a rocking chair of my own. Well Aunt Martha and Uncle Bill gave me this red rocker that was either Leigh or William's when they were little. I LOVE it!! Thank you to the Jurney family for the rocker and for having us over for the Christmas gathering!! The parents and I enjoyed it!

Also, while we were there, we got to talking about what to name my little brother. Well, I think we all agreed that his name will be Cody! Now we need help from all our friends and family with a middle name. The parents said they had everyone give their input with my name and really appreciated it and thought it was fun. Now they want to do the same with Cody. Some choices for a middle name they have thought of include: Lewis, Thomas, James & Christopher. These are all family names. We'll take any other suggestions for names as well. Thanks for your help! and if you can't figure out how to comment on my blog, then email mommy: beaus22@yahoo.com
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas!!

Ok, since Thanksgiving we have been extremely busy. Daddy's playoff game after Delta State was against NW Missouri in Maryville, MO. JuJu came up to stay with me the Dec 5-7 weekend so mommy could go with daddy to the game. Unfortunately Daddy's team lost, but I'm proud of him and his team for having such a great season! Roar Lions! Here is mommy and daddy in Missouri Friday night and then mommy at the REALLY cold game Saturday with the other wives...they wore some players jerseys:

On Thursday the 11th, my school called mommy to let her know they would be closing early due to the weather. Mommy came and got me, then we (the parents and I) tried to go get some shopping done before the weather hit. They decided it would be a good time to let me visit Santa since there wasn't a crowd. I DID NOT like Santa one bit. He even gave me a sucker and I still didn't like him. He got up and let me sit in his chair by myself and I STILL didn't like him. Since he was being so nice to me, I decided to sit in his lap and look at the camera, but I refused to smile. I really hope that doesn't mean he's going to skip my house this year tho! Santa please bring me some goodies!!!!

When we left the mall, it was SNOWING! This would be my 2nd snow and boy was it coming down! Here is a picture the nite it came down and then a picture of mommy and me the next morning.

Speaking of the next morning. It was mommy's birthday and I don't think I made it a very good one for her. Chance and I both had been sick, so she had to wake up dealing with us. Then mommy took me to school at 10 when they said they would open, and she found out they were actually closed for the day. Daddy came back home to keep me so mommy could go to work. Then mommy took off work early to take me to the doctor and I had an ear infection. She said she was not mad at me and that she did enjoy her birthday because she has me. Love you too mommy!

Monday the 15th, mommy went to the doctor after she took me to school. When she picked me up, she had some news for me! She said I was going to have a little brother!!! and that everything is going good and that he'll be here around May 18! See him smiling?

Well I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in case I don't get a chance to update before then. The parents and I are headed to Jacksonville, FL to visit Mawmaw Willis! Can't wait!

What a Happy Thanksgiving I had!

Wow what a long, fun holiday! It started last Wednesday by mommy coming to pick me up early from daycare and heading out to the airport. That's where we met Grandy and JuJu. They picked us up "on their way" to Greenville. I put my headset on so I could hear everyone talking. After being in the air for a bit, I decided to take the headset off and take a short nap. Once we arrived in Greenville, mommy, JuJu and I went to Nona's, then out to eat.

Thursday we got up and headed out to Grandmommy's (Grandy's mom) to have Thanksgiving dinner. There was tons of food. After we ate, Grandy and I took a nap. Grandy used me as his excuse to take a nap.

Saturday was the big family gathering at Nona's to eat Thanksgiving dinner. The WHOLE family was there except for Uncle Bill (he was sick) and daddy (he had a game). Mommy didn't want us to miss out on seeing everyone, so we skipped the game this week and watched it online at Nona's instead. Thankfully we beat DSU and get to play NW Missouri in the semi-final game this coming Saturday!

Here are the 9 grandchildren in the family. Notice mommy is the only girl.

Here are the 9 grandchildren with their babies and Nona

and here is the whole family (excluding spouses). Nona, JuJu, her 2 sisters and brother, with their babies and their babies' babies.

Since we were taking pictures, everyone got a 4 generation picture. Here is mine with mommy, JuJu and Nona

Ok so we finally went back in from taking pictures and I was thirsty! Aunt Brenda let me drink from her red cup. I thought it was soooo funny!

When I was done drinking the water, I played with cousin Bella. She's gotten so big!! and I'm so happy I got to see her!

Sunday ended our long holiday weekend. Grandy flew us home early, so mommy and I rested Sunday afternoon, then headed up to daddy's office to visit him for a bit while he was working and getting everything in order to beat the Bearcats this Saturday!

Lions keep rollin!

Saturday the Lions played Valdosta in round 2 of the playoffs. Before the game, mommy and I went on the field to wish daddy good luck and of course take pictures.... Then mommy and I went out to the rv and tailgated some.

All my friends were there and then Leo showed up...we got a group shot. Jenna didn't want to play with Leo tho, so she's missing.

After a 37-10 win over Valdosta, mommy and I went on the field to congratulate daddy...and of course take ANOTHER picture.

Now we play Delta State this Saturday in Cleveland in the 3rd round of the playoffs and for the regional championship. Wish us luck!!
Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and a fun time with your families!

Making deals with mommy

Ok so mom and I made a deal. I HATE putting my coat on. I pitch a fit EVERY morning when mommy makes me, so this morning she made a deal with me. She said if I would wear my hat, then I didn't have to wear my coat since I had a heavy sweatshirt on. I said ok. But she didn't let me see the hat before I agreed :-(

dang them Eagles!

What an exhausting weekend! Saturday, mommy and I rode in the RV to Livingston, AL for daddy's last regular season game against West Alabama. I sat and watched the WHOLE game this time...in the cold! Tho mommy had me wrapped up in my warm coat. It was so poofy that my arms wouldn't lay down...she said I looked like the kid on the Christmas Story. I'll be sure to watch it this year to see what she means. So I stayed up late and eventually fell asleep on the way home. We got home around 1:00am, but I never woke up while being transported from vehicle to vehicle then to the house. Then I slept late Sunday morning for mommy and daddy. We all slept till 8:30! I was still tired after sleeping that late so I took a 3 hour nap that afternoon, which got me good and ready for my Christmas pictures later that afternoon. Yes that's right...mommy made me take MORE pictures...wow how many does she want of me! Whatever, I'm a good sport and just smile for the camera...I'm a pro at it now.

After taking Christmas pictures, we went to the Arrington's to watch the Giants vs the Eagles. Daddy and I made sure to wear our apparel and cheer them on, but unfortunately it didn't work. Our Eagles lost 36-31. But check us out anyways enjoying our beverage of choice.

So an update on daddy's team...We ended the regular season ranked #2 in our region, so we get a bye for the first week of playoffs. Yes that means family time this weekend!! Then on the 22nd we will host the winner of Valdosta and Carson Newman. Wish us luck!!

How do you eat your oreo?

Last nite I had spaghetti for supper. Mommy usually lets me feed myself so I can "learn", and I actually prefer to do it myself. Guess what I had for dessert!! She gave me an oreo cookie. I fed it to myself too and it was yummy!

Good thing Daddy wasn't home...he may have had a heart attack if he would have seen the mess!
