Love you Cousin Bella!

Do you remember when I told you that Cousin Bella will be here in September? Well this past weekend I went with mommy and JuJu to Jackson for Aunt Shelley's baby shower just for Bella. Check out her cool cake! and if you look close, you can see a picture of her in the frame next to the cake.

Bella got tons of goodies! Mommy said she had many great friends and family that did the same for her and me before I arrived. So during the shower I sat with JuJu and watched Aunt Shelley open a million presents. I got her a toybag full of my favorite toys, and was able to find a couple of them in pink! Everyone said I was being just the perfect baby (what did they expect! ha!). Mommy was so proud of me! Here is me sitting with JuJu at the shower.

Another milestone happened after the shower...I found some objects on the table that I wanted to play with so I pulled up on the table and stood up on my feet all by myself! I'm doing it everywhere now...especially in my crib, so the parents are going to have to lower my mattress again so I'm not tempted to climb over.

So after a fun weekend stay at Uncle Dade and Aunt Shelley's JuJu, mommy and I rode back to Florence. On the way back, we stopped at McDonalds to meet Mr. Jeremy and Mrs. Melissa and visit with them for a few minutes since they were on their way back to Louisiana. This was my first time to get to eat some McDonald fries and cookies and boy were they good!!

When we got to Florence, I asked mommy if we could go to the pool so I could show JuJu how I like to splash around. We went, but unfortunately the wind was blowing a lot so it made me cold, which made me fussy! So we didn't stay long, but of course it was long enough for mommy to take a picture of me looking cool in my shades and drinkin my bottle.

JuJu left Monday morning, but she said she would be back in August for my birthday party. Can't wait JuJu and thank you for coming up to ride with mommy and me!

I'm a Big Boy!

This weekend was nice and relaxing and REWARDING! Since I've been trying to pull up on things, the parents decided I needed something to help me learn to walk. They bought me a walker to wagon toy. Right now I can just stand with it and push it forward, but my feet don't move yet so I have to have one of the parents stand beside me because I would fall on my face without their help. I really like playing with the fun toys on the front of it tho!
Sunday was such a pretty day, so I asked mommy if we could go to the pool. She said I had to take a nap then eat first, so that's what I did! Check me out in my favorite sleeping position...I slept for a couple hours, then I was a happy boy when I woke up...I knew I just had to eat then we could go to the pool!!The pool was tons of fun, but it wore me out! I took my bath early Sunday night in case I fell asleep earlier than my bedtime...then after my bath, the parents and I went to the Penny's for dinner...they all had burgers and since I had already eaten, I just played in the floor with Mrs. Andi's pink ball. I liked it so much that she gave it to me! Thanks Mrs. Andi!!

I've been out playing

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated you on what I've been doing, but I've been busy!!

I had my first high chair experience at a restaurant...Olive Garden. The waiter gave me some paper and crayons to play with, but mommy wouldn't let me have the crayons, so I just played with the paper and ate some puffs (or dropped them all in the floor) I also flirted with a cute girl sittin behind me...her boyfriend's name was Beau!

I've started CRAWLING! and yes I'm all over the place and the parents keep saying "no, no" to me when I start toward the TV and try and grab the framed picture of them. I can't figure out what they mean...I just turn around and laugh at them and continue towards the picture and drag it off the shelf.

I've also been to the pool some more. I love my crab floaty and check out the picture...I'm already a chick magnet! Mommy even took me in the big pool and bounced around with me. It's SO much fun splashing the water all over.

and the first word is.....

"MAMA"
I said mama pretty plain on Tuesday (June 3), but the next day I also said "DaDa". I'm sayin both right now cause I really love em both! My family is great!

Not so sure about the swimming pool...

Saturday Daddy had football camp, so mommy and I went to hang out at the pool. It was my FIRST trip to the pool! Mommy put this yuck white cream stuff all over me! She said it was so I wouldn't get sunburned. I wasn't happy about that at all! Then she stuck my feet in the water. I didn't like that either! I did finally get in waist deep, but I told mommy to just let me sit on the side of the pool...I was cool with that! My friends Wade and Jenna Cannon were there. Jenna let me play with her bucket and toys. Thanks Jenna!

Look here...I think someone spike my bottle! I was so relaxed ha!

Mommy bought me some spray on sunblock and a cool crab floaty on Sunday and she said we would go try them out next weekend at the pool. Maybe I will like that more!

Mr. Steve and Mrs. Sheila were at the pool too. Mrs. Sheila was lots of fun! She even invited us over to their house for burgers that night. When we got there...oh boy! She had so many toys in the floor for me to play with. I had so much fun! Thanks Mrs. Sheila!

FYI for anyone keeping up with my teeth count...I got #5 Sunday...it broke thru on the top right.

Also, mommy wanted me to let yall know that my 1st birthday party is going to be Saturday, August 16. She's not sure of place or time yet, but wanted to let yall know if you wanted to make arrangements to come! email or call her if you know if you'll be able to come so she can start getting a head count. Yes I know, she can be annoying with planning stuff so far in advance, but she says that's how she stays stress free...whatever that means! Hope you will be able to come!

Weddings, Weddings and More Weddings!

Friday night the parents & the Boone's went to Mr. Josh and Mrs. Andria's wedding so Kade and I got to hang out at the crib with JuJu and Grandy. Kade has grown so much since I've seen him! We'll be running all over the place together soon! Saturday the parents had another wedding to attend and they took me with them for that one! It was for mama's cousin Taylor in Memphis...my very first wedding and of course I was a good boy! Grandy and I sat on the swing while waiting to leave. During the wedding I got a little wound up, so daddy stood with me and showed me all the pretty girls walking back down the aisle. He said he was teaching me young...guess I'll figure out what that means later? I also got to say hey to Bella! She's my cousin that will be here in September. See me with Uncle Dade and Aunt Shelley. Uncle Dade was pretty fun and I loved his red tie thingy. Everyone took turns playing with me. Nona got me next and she really enjoyed giving me kisses. I thought it was sweet! and she looked so pretty! I finally got passed off to mommy. The wedding was at 7 and my bedtime is 8, so I was getting pretty tired. Mommy put me in my car seat so I could go to sleep.



We finally got home Sunday and we were all worn out. After we all rested some, mommy and I practiced walking. She lets me stand on her feet while she walks. I think it's soooo funny!

Friday afternoon the parents and I went down to McFarland Park to take pictures for the UNA Football Media Guide. I thought it was really fun being down by the river. They said we'll go back real soon for a picnic...can't wait! Mommy kept messing our pictures up cause the wind was blowing her hair all over the place. Daddy and I don't have that problem.

Saturday was such a pretty day, so mommy took me and Chance outside to play and the sun was so bright that mommy gave me my first pair of sunglasses to wear. I'm such a cool dude! Chance thought I was cool too...he came up to me to play and check out my new accessory.

So Sunday I turned 9 months old and guess what! I have tooth #4! It's my 2nd tooth on top.
