I love the Easter Bunny!

Sunday morning I woke up and learned that the Easter Bunny delivers presents! He had left tons of goodies on my big bed for me...a turtle basket to hold my eggs, an Elmo tv remote (just like mommy and daddy's!), some squishy balls, bubbles, books, light up frog, thumper, and 3 outfits. It was all sittin in this funny colored orange grass. I was a big boy and sat up by myself for mommy to take pictures. I'm starting to become a professional model for pictures...thanks mom! (sarcasm)! I'm also starting to get pretty good at sitting up...I've alomst got the hang of it!! The parents let me play with my new toys for a little bit before we took off to Aberdeen to visit some of the family. I took some of them with me to play with during the ride.

Aberdeen was fun, I got to see MawMaw, Nanaw, Pawpaw, Aunt Martha, cousin Leigh, Uncle Allen, cousin Austin and Aunt MaryBeth. Austin and I got to play for a little bit and then Uncle Allen let me wear his Alabama hat. It was just a little bit too big...but I liked it!

The whole day was pretty fun and I fell asleep for a little bit on the way back. When we got home, mommy and I stayed up watching some basketball...we are both beating daddy in the brackets! Ha! Actually, I am beating both of them and it's my first year to play!

Happy Birthday to me! I'm 7 months old!

This past weekend daddy went to Bristol, TN to watch the NASCAR race, so mommy and I hung out and had a great time! She took me to Toys R Us Saturday and we went up and down every aisle playing with toys. She let me pick out 2 to keep! The first is a caterpillar baby counting pal that plays all kind of music. It's really cool and I like it hung on the side of my crib to play with & chew on of course! The other toy I picked out is a move and crawl ball. It has a few animal and numbers on it, where when I push one of the buttons it plays an aminal sound or plays music...then the cool thing is it rolls around by itself. The only uncool thing about this toy is I haven't figured out how to chew on it because it's so big! I think mommy felt like I should be rewarded since I got my 2nd tooth last week! Now I have 2 on the bottom to bite with! I was letting mommy feel em and accidently bit her...she said "ouch!" and it made me laugh. Sorry mommy! Daddy got home late Sunday night so I didn't see him. When he saw me Monday, he told me that one day he would take me to Bristol with him! Can't wait daddy!

Hippity hoppity, Easter's on its way...

This weekend was pretty fun...I got to see my first snow! Saturday, Mommy and JuJu took me outside to play in it. brrrr!!! Unfortunately, it was melting too fast for me to build a snowman. Later on, it warmed up so we took a trip to the mall. I got to see the Easter Bunny!! He was so nice...he held me in his lap in an egg shell, which has some funny colored grass in it that I for some reason wanted to eat. His house was pretty cool too...He had funny looking mushroom men , butterflies, eggs, lady bugs and bunny rabbits all over.

Sunday afternoon, I put my Kentucky uniform on to watch them beat Florida. Hope bear and Fuzzy bear decided they wanted to play me 2 on 1. I'll let you guess who won...

Sadly, JuJu left Monday morning to go back home. I enjoyed my week with her, but now it's back to daycare I go. I did get to show her pictures online from my 6 month photo shoot before she left tho. Check it out...my 6 month pictures! use my last name as the password.

Chance is my buddy

So, we've come a long way, I think Chance may like me now. We have Chance entertainment sessions each night. I sit in my chair and mommy gets some treats for Chance and makes him do tricks in front of me. I laugh and smile bunches at him. Then mommy gives me the treat to give to Chance. He now lets me pet him some aka pull his hair.

Some other news...I really was actually sick last week and was running my first fever last Thursday. It got up to 101. So I went to work with mommy Thursday and Friday. Then I called JuJu Saturday and cried in the phone to her. She's a sucker! She drove up to see me Sunday :-) I love when JuJu comes! So now I am skippin out on daycare this week to sit home and play with JuJu (and try and get over my horrible cough). I'm feeling much better now!

Put me on the list Tooth Fairy!

When I woke up at 2:00am Saturday morning, mommy put me in the bed with her and she started massaging my gums...well she felt something sharp! Yep it was my first TOOTH! That explained a lot of my fussiness Thursday and Friday at daycare. So put me on your list Tooth Fairy! I look forward to seeing how much my teeth are worth in a few years from now!

6 Month Shots

This morning mommy took me to the doctor for my 6 month shots. I weighed 14.10 lbs and was 25 3/4 tall. Dr. Moore said I am in the 25th percentile in both height and weight. She was pretty busy since she was out the day before, so I sat in the waiting room with mommy for almost an hour before we got called back. I played with green gator most of the time, then I munched on my blue bear blanket some. I ate some too, then spit up on mommy's work clothes. Sorry mommy! A man told mommy that I was being really good and a lady in there told her I was really cute! :-) When we finally got called back, mommy laid me on the table and I started playing with the fun paper under me...oops I tore it! The shots this time weren't too bad. Yes I cried, but I really don't think it was cause of the shots...I think it was cause I was getting sleepy since the appointment ran way over into my nap time. When the shots were over, I got rewarded with some cool bandaids!

The best part of the whole visit was when Dr. Moore said she didn't need to see me until I am 1 year old. Yay no more shots for a whole 1/2 year!!

Yay! I'm a 1/2 year old today!

This past weekend was a guy weekend. Mommy had to leave town for Mrs. Angela's baby shower. My friend Kade will be here soon! Can't wait to meet him! So while mommy was gone daddy, Chance and I hung out. Saturday night was the first night mommy spent away from me. I enjoyed my quality time with daddy. He made me laugh a lot. Mommy got home Sunday. She said she missed me tons! That afternoon we all went to Mr. Josh & Miss Andria's house for the Daytona 500 party. I got to see my friend Cole and a bunch of mommy & daddy's friends. It was pretty fun, tho the race was a bit boring. It put me to sleep! No one really wrecked and that is usually the best part. Some excitement came at the end when I thought my driver (Tony Stewart) was going to win. After the race was over Mr. Josh thought he would start entertaining us with his karaoke singing. That was our cue to leave...I think he is tone deaf!

So...a couple pictures...here I am playing in my saucer while mommy does her daily duty of washing my bottles. Daddy saw this picture and said I look just like his pictures when he was this age. He was really excited about that!
