dang them Eagles!

What an exhausting weekend! Saturday, mommy and I rode in the RV to Livingston, AL for daddy's last regular season game against West Alabama. I sat and watched the WHOLE game this time...in the cold! Tho mommy had me wrapped up in my warm coat. It was so poofy that my arms wouldn't lay down...she said I looked like the kid on the Christmas Story. I'll be sure to watch it this year to see what she means. So I stayed up late and eventually fell asleep on the way home. We got home around 1:00am, but I never woke up while being transported from vehicle to vehicle then to the house. Then I slept late Sunday morning for mommy and daddy. We all slept till 8:30! I was still tired after sleeping that late so I took a 3 hour nap that afternoon, which got me good and ready for my Christmas pictures later that afternoon. Yes that's right...mommy made me take MORE pictures...wow how many does she want of me! Whatever, I'm a good sport and just smile for the camera...I'm a pro at it now.

After taking Christmas pictures, we went to the Arrington's to watch the Giants vs the Eagles. Daddy and I made sure to wear our apparel and cheer them on, but unfortunately it didn't work. Our Eagles lost 36-31. But check us out anyways enjoying our beverage of choice.

So an update on daddy's team...We ended the regular season ranked #2 in our region, so we get a bye for the first week of playoffs. Yes that means family time this weekend!! Then on the 22nd we will host the winner of Valdosta and Carson Newman. Wish us luck!!

How do you eat your oreo?

Last nite I had spaghetti for supper. Mommy usually lets me feed myself so I can "learn", and I actually prefer to do it myself. Guess what I had for dessert!! She gave me an oreo cookie. I fed it to myself too and it was yummy!

Good thing Daddy wasn't home...he may have had a heart attack if he would have seen the mess!

Yep I'm a cuddly Lion! When I got to school, Ms. Gail was dressed different and I didn't recognize her. She was a witch, so I wasn't so sure about staying today. She took her hat & hair off to show me it was her, so then I was ok to stay.

Saturday was our homecoming game against Valdosta. There were tons of people everywhere! I told mommy I wanted to stay for the whole game this week cause I knew daddy would love my support. This was my first cold football game to sit thru and I think I handled it pretty good! After a couple minutes in the 4th quarter, mommy asked if I was ready to leave...I told her we could since it looked like we were going to pull off the win. Go Lions! We won 41-23! On the way home, JuJu took some pictures of me cause I looked cute all bundled up. See the pumpkin blanket Mrs. Andi let me borrow?

Fun with Daddy!

Well Thursday nite, the Lions played at DSU and ended with an unfortunate loss...34-28. That puts their record at 7-1 now. With the game being on Thursday, Daddy had time off Saturday afternoon. This was the first time in 3 weeks that we were able to hang out. He seemed a little down because of the loss, so I suggested to the parents that we get out of the house and ride by campus to go look at the lions. Pooey! The lions weren't out, but we played anyways. I walked around the fountain a few times...I thought it was cool.Then Daddy and I played peek a boo around this sign. I think I cheered him up!!The parents said it was time to go, so I went and got one more look of the pretty fountain.

School Days

Friday after mommy got off work, we (me, mommy & JuJu) drove to Greenville to stay at Nona's. Cousins Robert & Christy are expecting a baby boy in December, so we went for the baby shower. I helped mommy blow up balloons and I made sure to keep everyone entertained during the shower. It was fun seeing a bunch of family during the weekend. Something strange tho...mommy didn't get her camera out, so I have no pictures from the weekend to show you. BUT I do have some other pictures to show you. My 1st set of school day pictures came in Friday. Check them out....I'm so used to taking pictures, that I did this good all on my own!

Friday, Mommy and I took a road trip to Brandon to see my new cousin Bella Rose.

We got to stay at Uncle Dade and Aunt Shelley's house and JuJu was there too. It was exciting getting to visit with everyone! and of course...here are a few pictures:

I walked back and forth to this gate a bunch.We also went shopping. Well actually mommy went shopping and JuJu and I "strolled" the sidewalk. I even helped her push the stroller as I stopped to wave at everyone that walked by. I love waving at people...it makes them smile and I love to make people smile!

Sunday was time to go home...I was sad to leave cousin Bella, but I know I'll see her again real soon. I was cheered up tho when JuJu said she was going to come home with us. She is here with us for a whole week! Isn't that exciting!!

I didn't get to make it to daddy's game this past weekend tho, but they won without me! They beat Arkansas Tech 45-24, which makes them 6-0 on the season!
