Chance and Me and Our backyard!

So I haven't posted much lately because nothing has really been going on. All the parents and I have been doing is getting settled in the new house. Last week we got our new fence for the backyard. Saturday was FINALLY a nice day, so Chance and I went out to play for a while.

After running around for a while, daddy and I took a break on the swing and then me in my rocking chair.
Soon after our break, daddy had to leave for his spring game. Mommy and I went out to tailgate for a little bit, but we left before the game started because we weren't feeling good. I was sent home from daycare last Wednesday with a fever. The parents couldn't get my fever down (which got up to 104), so I went to see Dr. Moore on Friday. She said I had a respiratory infection. She got me some meds and I'm doing much better today!

So an update on Cody...we've got his room ready for him! Mommy goes to the doctor Wednesday for a sonogram and we'll get to see how big he is! I'm excited to see new pictures of my little brother.

New House and Surgery

So we've been REALLY busy! The parents bought a house 2 Fridays ago, so we've been packing up and moving. In the middle of all this moving, I had ear tubes put in on March 3rd. Everything went good with the surgery and I've felt great since then! Here I am before surgery:

The following Friday, JuJu came to see me! She's also been helping unpack and take care of me during the move. The parents found me a new phone while packing...do I look like daddy?

This morning I was going thru all daddy's hats to see what looked best...I guess I like this Braves hat...what ya think?

Sorry about the long delay between postings, but hope you understand why now. I love my new house!!

Game Face, Shots & Baptism

Last week I hit the 18 month mark. With that said, daddy has taught me to put on my "game face". This is semi what it looks like, but come see me and I'll give you the full effect!

So reaching 18 months meant more shots. I visited the doc and they said I weigh 23 (10th%), I'm 32" tall (50th%) and my head is 18.5". I got a couple shots, but they were no big deal. I was really excited when they said no more shots till I'm 5! Also, last week I went to an ear doctor...he said I have to get tubes, which will be done next week. See me and daddy after my shots...

Saturday morning, mommy and I took off to Jackson to see cousin Bella! Uncle Dade and she were baptized together on Sunday. I got to play in the nursery during the service with some new friends. Bella and I didn't pose very good for the picture afterwards, but here we all are! Congrats Uncle Dade & Cousin Bella Rose!

Another bit of info about me is I started climbing out of my crib last Friday. I thought it was funny, but the parents don't think it is because I stay up way later now. My crib has now been converted to a toddler bed and I think it's fun to get up and surprise the parents at their bedside early in the morning since I'm no longer trapped in the crib!

awe Sweet Valentine's day

Last Tuesday daycare called mommy to come get me because I had a fever. I ended up at the doctor and he said I had an ear infection. I wasn't feeling great at all that day, so I napped with mommy at home. Wednesday I was feeling much better, but couldn't go back to daycare due to the 24 hour fever rule. I went to work with mommy instead. I watched Backyardigans and Veggie Tales while mommy worked.

Wednesday night, the parents had a Valentine's Dinner to go to, so I played with Wade and Jenna during the dinner. When we got home, Mommy posed for a belly picture with Cody at 26 weeks...I didn't want to be left out so I tried to sneak in the picture.

I love outside!

We had another pretty day Saturday, so the parents and I loaded up and headed to the football practice field. We took my 4-wheeler along for this trip. I rode some:

Then I took a drink break:

Then I thought it would be fun to push instead of ride:

Then Sunday, the parents took me to River Heritage Park before it got crowded. There was only 1 other person there...Charley. I told her I would be the train conductor and she could ride:

Here I am driving:

Then I showed her around...here is where the bad people on the train went...to JAIL!

Then there was a section of MY train where people can get a good view while traveling:

When the train stops, it takes you to a fun playground that has monkey bars and slides. Here is me as a monkey:

Then I was showing Charley how to climb up the slide:

and finally I slid down the slide to go home for a nap!

After my nap, the parents and I loaded up and went back to the football field. There, I got to kick a soccer ball and ride the 4-wheeler some more and run and run and run. Then we walked over and watched some of the baseball game. Whew! I was a tired little boy!

Taste of Spring!

Sunday was such a pretty day! The parents convinced me to take an early nap so we could go to the park and play. Daddy pulled me in my wagon while mommy walked Chance.

Chance got a little tired, so I told him to get in and ride with me.

We stopped under the gazebo to look at the birds in the pond...or my pronunciation is "buwd". I pointed at them to make sure mommy and daddy saw them!

After riding around in the wagon, we went to the playground where I got to swing, ride a frog and be the captain to the ship!

After the park we went home to get ready for the Super Bowl! Mr. Steadman and the Arringtons came over to watch it with us. They brought some yummy food including some boneless "hot" wings, which I really enjoyed!

Here are some fun facts about me now at 17 months old:
I have 16 teeth
I sleep from 8:15pm till 7:30am
I'm a really good dancer
I love to play chase and hide and seek.
Some of my favorite words are: melmo (Elmo), Uh-Oh, "Beau", Ball, cheese, thank you, NO! moon, mama, and TOUCH DOWN (along with throwing my hands in the air for the touchdown sign)
I can count to 3, but only mommy and daddy understand it.
I know what a cow, duck, pig, dog and bee say...but I only tell you when I feel like it, not when you ask.
My most favorite sound right now is: "Choo-choo" along with doing my arm for the choo-choo motion
I love to clap my hands and stomp my feet to the "happy if you know it" song
and of course I love doing the pat-a-cake song and playing peek-a-boo.

There are plenty more fun facts about me right now, but this gives you and idea for now!!

New Crib!

After a long week without seeing daddy, the parents came together Friday to pick me up from school. They had some good news! They told me we were moving into a house at the end of February. Check out our new house:

and look at my new big backyard Chance, Cody and I will get to play in!

Here are more pictures: HOUSE
The parents said you are all invited to the moving party!

Saturday the parents and I hung out because Daddy was leaving again on Sunday to go recruit till Thursday. This is his 3rd week in a row to be gone and we miss him! Mommy and I played ALL DAY Sunday...I didn't even take a nap! I got her to blow up my Diego ball pit and we played in it forever. Check out my cool hairdo from the static.
